Jon Lundin and David Rydell will be the honorees at this year's Rockford Area Business Hall of Fame to be held April 24 at the Clock Tower Resort. After receiving a number of nominations from across the community, a panel of business leaders selected David and Jon for their outstanding community contributions and business acumen. "These two men truly have accomplished what we hope our JA students can build on," said JA President Larry Messing. "Our youth can look at all of our inductees to see an example of what hard work can accomplish." Jon served as the president of the Abilities Center for many years before his untimely passing last year. He was considered by many to be Rockford's Official Historian. David serves as Chairman of Bergstrom, Inc., and a leader in a number of local community organizations and projects. He has helped lead Bergstrom to be one of the preeminent manufacturers of climate control systems for commercial vehicles in the world.
