Groundhog Job Shadow Week

Job Shadow is a mentor program whereby students spend a day with a professional at his/her workplace. During the day students gain an understanding of business culture, work ethic, and career choice.
What are the Objectives of the Program?
By the end of the program students will:
- discover skills required for success in most careers;
- conduct a personal assessment of the skills they observe;
- develop a personal action plan to obtain the education and skills necessary to secure a job of interest to them;
- observe teamwork on the job;
- discover how each person and department plays an important role in the production or service delivery process;
- examine how education and training relate to success on the job;
- understand that a good education is key to getting a job;
- identify various careers;
- gain knowledge of careers to assist in their own career decisions;
